Fishing report
Went out to Sherman X Tug last Thursday and caught and released approx 20 nice red snapper before moving on to Off Shore twin barge where we loaded up with Porgy using small circle hook rig with cut squid. Not very sexy, but filled the chest when not much was in season. Girls had a lot of fun and it made the trip worthwhile.See More

Air Force pier just east of the Tyndall Marina is a nice place to offload and anchor up. It has short boardwalk to the beach on the Gulf and is almost never crowded.

Blackwater Pyrates hold Change of Command to install new Captain
On the 7th of January the Blackwater Pyrates held a formal change of comand to install their new captain. Retiring is Captain Hook'em Dano and coming on board is the new Captain Fins Up of the Bains Canal clan. Captain Fins Up began his term with a vow of unity and dedication to community.
