We, as the boaters of NW Fla. and the emerald coast _really_ need to get the word out about this great resource. Please tell all you know. I've posted a notice on the Bayliner owner forum. Perhaps the SysOp could also consider some flyers or signs for the local marine stores or better yet bumper stickers with the cool .com logo?
I hope you'd also consider having a 'Boat In' once a year where all the local members can come have a BBQ and see each others boats. I have a site…

Boating Panama and Boat Pensacola
No place in Florida is more beautiful than the Panhandle, located in the northwestern part of the state. With sun-drenched white sand beaches and turquoise blue waters, not only is the Panhandle breathtaking, but it’s also a fisherman’s paradise any time of year.
The gulf and bay waters surrounding Panama City Beach offer some of the finest sport fishing in the world. Whether fly casting for redfish in St. Andrews Bay, trolling the Gulf of…

When I went to a search engine that shall remain nameless and typed in “boat,” I had a feeling I’d find some boat pictures. But what I didn’t count on was that the absolute top of the heap would be a sweet little ride with slick curves and a light, friendly “personality” about it… or that the very same boat was a hippie’s dream come true and uses absolutely no gas in its everyday operational life.
See, the boat I found was an early computer rendition of an…

If you have your own boat, do you keep proper boat checklists and logs? This could be one of the most important things you ever do for yourself and your passengers when it comes to boating. For example, check lists are a great way for you to make sure you have everything that you need and that you follow proper safety precautions while on the boat or preparing to leave on the boat.
Here are some examples of the types of boat checklists and logs you might keep:
• Float plan
• Ship…

Have you ever wanted to find a nice quiet piece of beach for yourself to enjoy? You might be surprised to know that the Florida coast has over 800 miles of beaches. That’s a TON of beaches to choose from but do you ever feel like you can’t find a quiet and peaceful one for anything?
This is partly because so many people from other parts of the country or even other parts of the world want to come to Florida, especially during the winter months where it might be cold where they are…

So I've been thinking of doing a fishing charter somewhere in the area. I haven't been fishing in a long time and I don't really know the waters here as far as navigation goes. I have always loved an outdoors adventure and I think trying some different fishing charters will give me a better idea about what I can do on my own around here.
I love to fish but I'm not sure how confident I feel about going out on my own and I don't have my own boat, so I think a charter will be fun. I am…

There appears to be some confusion on the difference between forum / discussions and blogs. In general, a forum/discussion is intended for two way conversations and/or questions and a blog can be thought of as more of a one way journal that can be commented on.
A blog (short for weblog) is a personal online journal that is frequently updated and intended for general public consumption. They are usually maintained by an individual with regular entries of commentary, descriptions of…
